Appomattox, VA - Waterproofing Company Sponsors Local High School Athletes

Evergreen Basement Systems sponsored two Appomattox High School athletes to enable them to attend the Washington & Lee University football camp in Lexington, VA.

The camp ran from June 19th through the 22nd and featured three practices per day, clinics, scrimmages and football advice for area high school athletes.

This sponsorship was brought about by Chris Aliperti, who is a

certified waterproofing professional with Evergreen Basement Systems. Aliperti is a full-time employee of Evergreen and Appomattox High School as an assistant varsity coach. He coaches special teams, outside linebackers and the team's quarterbacks.

Evergreen sales manager, Joe Caruso, also works at Appomattox High School as the head varsity baseball coach. He started at Evergreen after friend, Chris Aliperti, recommended he apply for a position there.

In addition to an emergency foreclosure law that went into effect July,1 giving homeowners facing foreclosure some room to breathe with a 30-day extension to work on a payment plan, VA state government instituted a Foreclosure Prevention Task Force.

The goal is to help homeowners who are struggling to keep up with their mortgage payments to save and keep their homes. There is help out there and the Task Force is encouraging people to seek it.
